- Words - 6 gala apples; 1/2 cup brown sugar; pinch of cinnamon + nutmeg; 2 Tbsp butter; splash of milk; Peel and cut apples and put in pie tin; Sprinkle with dry ingredients + butter; Place top crust on pie; Prick small holes + sprinkle milk over top of pie; Bake at 425 for 15 min. then reduce to 350 for 30 min.
