    Home Day Nightgown

Definitely a heavier cotton than some I have purchased from April Cornell. Will hopefully soften with repeated washings. The embroidery adds a nice touch. Cheerful color, too.

This has quickly become my favorite nightgown! It is made from thicker quality cotton which is perfect for our central British Columbia, Canada climate. I absolutely LOVE the plaid colors! Would definitely buy this gown again!

The colours are even better in person, rich tones, and the sleeve length, overall length, cut and overall fit is great, true to size chart. Two things: The shoulder yoke, bodice are cut small relative to the rest of the garment (I've a muscular back, small bust, large rib-cage, that is 33" under bust muscle on bone, most AC garments I'd be an XS in general and chest, this one is adequate elsewhere, just an odd fit) so if you have ample bust on a small frame, I would consider a different nightie (I have other AC nighties in small, and this is the smallest in the bust/bodice/shoulder); my only slight, lingering dismay with the nightie is discovering the cotton is only brushed on the interior side, not the side that touches your skin (granted, its still nice cotton, but definitely not what I expected from previously purchasing a dressing gown and other garments). ALL of that being said, I love the rich colours, pattern, and overall fit.
