Pleasantly surprised!
This dress caught my interest when it was released but I dithered over it for quite a while. I really liked the striking pattern but the colours, with the exception of gold, were not my usual choice. I also wasn’t fussy about how the pattern in the lower part of the dress was interrupted by an offset piece of cloth attached to the bottom (in the photos on the website). When I eventually decided to give it a try, I was quite pleased that the dress I received is comprised of a single piece of cloth in the lower part, so the unique and slimming pattern remains intact to the bottom. I’m super happy about that…another April Cornell winner!
